Recently, Air India operated a flight on the Kolkata-Dimapur-Kolkata route with an all-women cockpit and cabin crew, as a part of International Women's Day celebrations on March 5.

Six all-female crews will operate 16 easyJet flights on Thursday - consisting of a captain, first officer and four cabin crew - between London, Bologna, Rome, Milan, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Agadir.

On 6 March, Emirates released a video to highlight the importance of its female employees.
