It's a mild start to the week here across the ArkLaMiss, temps are sitting in the mid to upper 50's as you head out the door.

The forecast for beach and boating on Tuesday calls for winds to be easterly between 10 and 15 knots, with seas 2 feet. We could see some rain start to move in overnight Sunday, but for now we're keeping the rain chance off the board through the weekend.

But the front, and the bulk of the rain, appears to pass through Thursday night into early Friday morning. Rain is expected until around 11 p.m. and then there is a chance for snow after 4 a.m. Thursday.
We also have a Winter Weather Advisory for Cascade, Meagher and Judith Basin counties. The biggest threats will be large hail and damaging wind gusts with an isolated tornado threat so make sure to stay weather aware. Unfortunately, the timing of these storms looks to be in the evening on Wednesday, and Wednesday night when everyone is sleeping. We will have a better idea close to Wednesday. Those clouds will clear out, and the sunshine will be back. That means cooler, cloudier and damp weather for one more day.
