Coming to specifications, Nokia 1 is a dual-SIM (nano) Nokia 1 smartphone. The phone comes with modest specifications and is aimed towards developing markets, and in India, this is the second Android Go phone to be launched, after the Lava Z50. This is where Android Go comes into its own as it is tailored for phones which have less than 1GB RAM and are low on memory. The Nokia 1 runs a quad-core processor clocked at 1.1Ghz coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.

Nokia licensee HMD Global had announced about Nokia 1 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February this year. The budget smartphone is priced at Rs 5,499, and will be available from March 28. The Xpress On covers are available in packs of Yellow and Pink or Azure and Grey and will be available for purchase separately for Rs. 450.

On Monday, it launched Nokia 1 with Android Go Edition for under Rs 5,500, and plans to launch Nokia 8110 4G feature phone in May in partnership with a telecom operator. It also has microSD card support which can be extended up to 128 GB.

It has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
