It's unclear how long Lesnar's extension runs, but the Greatest Royal Rumble will be held on April 27.

The WWE announced on Monday that Lesnar has re-signed with the organization and will defend his Universal Title against Reigns again in a steel cage match at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

According to Dave Meltzer of MMA Mania, sources are saying Lesnar's new contract is "short-term", and it allows him to fight at least once in the UFC - but it's unknown if he'll be permitted to compete in multiple shows.

Even though Lesnar's future in the WWE and UFC is not clear, it didn't stop oddsmakers from releasing betting odds on who Lesnar will face when and if he returns to the UFC. According to Dave Meltzer, Lesnar and McMahon kept the Wrestlemania result "a secret from nearly everyone, including the top executives and the writing team". He defeated Mark Hunt via unanimous decision, but the result was later changed to a no contest due to a failed drug test by Lesnar.
