Music store lovers pay homage to local record stores

It's a day for record store staff, customers, and musicians to get together and celebrate the culture of the independent record store. Park Ave CDs, located at 2916 Corrine Dr. near downtown Orlando, sells everything a music-lover could possibly want: vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, posters, books, and trinkets of all kinds. Last year, sales of vinyl LPs accounted for $395 million, up 10% over 2016, Recording Industry Association of America says. Be sure to get down to your local independent record store early as they'll only have a limited supply of each design!

In the past five years, vinyl has made its way back to popularity, and with its newfound attention, vinyl has become mainstream again, with even big box stores like Best Buy selling records.
