Mill was sentenced to up to four years in prison in November for a probation violation after he flunked a drug test, was arrested for fighting, and traveled out of a designated region.

The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office filed a motion last Thursday to the court that it does not oppose Mill being released on bail. Mill's case has galvanized prison-reform advocates, including several professional athletes, who say his sentence is excessive.

Following the meeting at the prison, Kraft pushed for change. "I think Coach has been wise, and he's told players and people that you don't make any decisions, or go public, with feelings in that few weeks after the Super Bowl loss". "So I see these as all positive things".

"It's just wrong, and we have to find a way to correct it", Kraft said.
