UFC 223 was supposed to be headlined by interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson against Khabib Nurmagomedov for the undisputed lightweight championship.

As "Blessed" prepared to board a flight for NY to take on Khabib Nurmagomedov this weekend, KHON2 Sports Director Rob DeMello caught up with Holloway at the airport.

And not only are these two fighters missing out, but so are UFC fans. Holloway is aiming to become a two-division champion.

Korean art troupe arrives in Pyongyang for performances
It marks the first by South Korean artists to perform in the North since Cho held a solo concert in Pyongyang in 2005. The leaders of the two countries are scheduled to meet for a summit on April 27, the first in more than a decade.

Scheduled for 5pm EST. today, the final press conference for UFC 223 will be streamed live on the internet. For the fourth time the paid have been set to face each other inside the octagon and once again it's off, this time Ferguson being the man to back out.

Speaking on The MMA Hour, Nurmagomedov said: "Yesterday after training we were going to go home, going to hotel to relax and my brother, Ali, told me he's out".

It has been written here already that Brooklyn can be a odd place for MMA and with the history of headlining an event with Ferguson and Nurmagomedov Friday should make for an interesting and probably one of the most watched weigh-ins for MMA fans. Holloway in a bigger featherweight at 5 feet 11 inches tall and has stated his intentions to move up to lightweight in the future.

Conte on his way and Chelsea know who they want
But for us, it's about maintaining the Champions League every year and hopefully we can do that, and trying to win a trophy. The Englishman also took a sly dig at Conte's repeated complaints about Chelsea's transfer strategy.

"My manager called me and told me Tony's hurt and they want you and Khabib, so how do you turn down an opportunity like this?" He defended that belt six months later by knocking out Aldo again in the third round at UFC 2018. If this is the will of the Fight Gods, we are 100% on board with the plan. I'm the right guy.

And McGregor, who still officially holds the lightweight belt, blasted both fighters on Twitter this evening.

"I'm not gonna lie, I think he nearly likes the amount of weight he has to lose, because it's a challenge. Max Holloway's a f**king beast", said Alvarez.
