U.S. President Donald Trump is looking forward to meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and an announcement on the date and location could come soon, the White House said Monday.

But the warm welcome was not Mr Kim's only gift from the South's leader; he also received a USB drive from Mr Moon.

President Trump has expressed interest in meeting with the North Korean leader in the demilitarized zone between the North and the South.

Earlier South Korea's official Yonhap news agency had reported that US military assets including F-22 stealth fighter jets were recently sent to participate in the joint annual South Korea-US air training. However, Pyongyang will hold on to its nuclear arsenal to be able to respond to any nuclear threat or provocation, according to the state KCNA news agency.

That said, the White House did state that the meeting between Trump and Kim Jong Un could occur within the next couple weeks.

Cardiff City Win Premier League Promotion On Dramatic Championship Final Day
Derby's sixth place means they'll take on Fulham over two legs, while Boro will battle with Aston Villa in their semi-final. Birmingham City sent his former club Fulham to the play-offs with a 3-1 home win which was played at the same day.

Although there have been recent tensions, there has also been talk of releasing three Americans from North Korea before the next summit according to USA Today.

The USB was presented to Kim after he crossed the heavily guarded DMZ into South Korea by Moon Jae-in last month for the leaders' historic meeting at the border village of Panmunjom.

"The deliberately provoking the DPRK at the time when the situation on the Korean Peninsula is moving toward peace and reconciliation", the spokesman was quoted as saying. However, Trump had, on several occasions, said he wanted a complete or partial withdrawal of the troops.

Though the North had in the past sought withdrawal of US troops stationed in South Korea as a condition to give up its nuclear weapons, it recently dropped the demand.

"This act can not be construed otherwise than a risky attempt to ruin the hard-won atmosphere of dialogue and bring the situation back to square one. It's all agreed to", the president said.

He added: "Stayed tuned".

"We're having very substantive talks with North Korea and a lot of things have already happened with respect to the hostages".

At that speech in MI, the crowd chanted "Nobel, Nobel, Nobel", possibly suggesting the president deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his achievements.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, at his swearing-in ceremony last week, said the US will not repeat the mistakes of past administrations when it comes to limiting the nuclear programs of rogue nations. DPRK is short for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the North's formal name.
