This is presumably in retaliation to James' comments in a CNN interview with Don Lemon, during which he stated he would not sit across from Trump, but would sit across from former president Barack Obama. "Sports have never been something that divide people it's always been something that brings people together".

Donald Trump has taunted National Basketball Association player LeBron James over his intelligence, claiming it "isn't easy" to make him "look smart".

In a tweet, Trump took aim at two of his regular critics, James and cable TV news personality Don Lemon. Now he is referring to CNN's Don Lemon as the "dumbest man on television", while also claiming that it "isn't easy to" make Lebron look smart.
