Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan also urged Saudi Arabia on Friday to disclose who ordered Khashoggi's murder, as well as the location of his body, heightening worldwide pressure on the kingdom to come clean on the case.

She said she had not been contacted by Saudi officials and that she was unlikely to go to Saudi Arabia for a possible funeral if Khashoggi's missing body is found.

"We have tried to share the information that we have obtained with the public".

It's therefore in Trump's interest for the Khashoggi's murder to remain shrouded in mystery - at least until the elections are over.
