Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart are now in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. Hulk apologized and several African-American wrestlers publicly offered their support for Hogan.

This will mark the return of Hogan for the first time since he was exiled from the company over past racially insensitive remarks that came to light back in 2015. Fans freaked out in 2016 when Hogan was name-dropped during a pay-per-view broadcast - but references to the WWE legend have since become less taboo, and he was reinstated to the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

News of Hogan being part of the show started with him mentioning it in an interview with the Orlando Sentinel last week.

"Considering the heinous crime committed at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, the Company faced a very hard decision as it relates to its event scheduled for November 2 in Riyadh", the WWE acknowledged in its statement.
