Kyler Murray To Declare For NFL Draft, Leanings Towards Football

With news that Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray will declare for the 2019 NFL Draft, there's now rumblings about potential landing spots for the Heisman victor.

While many onlookers note that Major League Baseball's guaranteed salary structure should be more enticing to Murray (or any player), that's somewhat of a presumptuous argument.

Could Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Kyler Murray, of Oklahoma, stick with football after all? Before taking over as Texas Tech's head coach in 2013, Kingsbury was the Aggies offensive coordinator and helped recruit Murray, who was starring at Allen High School.

Democrats filibuster pro-Israel bill, demand vote to reopen government
Specifically, it calls for the denial of government contracts to those that boycott Israel to protect Palestinian human rights. That final piece of the package would authorize the general counsel on behalf of the speaker to intervene in the Texas v.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Sooners standout is leaning toward entering the NFL Draft.

But with the 2019 National Football League draft class low on blue-chip quarterback prospects, Murray could end up being a hot commodity for teams that miss out on Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins, or even prefer the undersized but explosive center-fielder-turned-gunslinger.

The Redskins have a need at quarterback, so if Murray is available when Washington is on the clock at pick fifteen, should they select him?

But there was no indication that the Senate, controlled by Trump's fellow Republicans, would allow a vote on the bill. Union officials said some TSA officers have already quit because of the shutdown and many are considering quitting.

When Murray was selected in the first round of the MLB Draft in June, he signed a contract that included a $4.66 million signing bonus, which allowed him to play football for the Sooners for one final season before joining the A's. Murray has a lot more pocket passing skills than you'd expect for a small, athletic quarterback. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson was the last pick of the first round (No. 32 overall) in 2018.

Whether or not Murray actually wants a baseball career is the question, though.

It's unknown whether Kingsbury was forced to commit to Rosen in taking the job, but Murray's newfound availability could make for some interesting discussions. The Indianapolis Colts traded down from the third pick to the sixth pick in last year's draft and added three second-round picks for the trouble.
