3 Women, 3 Art Forms, 3 Perspectives
Local Big Sky Artists, Jackie Rainford Corcoran, Jill Zeidler, and Barbara Allen Dillon, will be presenting new works at Big Sky Resort on. Labor Day Weekend.
Barbara Allen Dillon has been flame working glass for nearly 30 years which provides the axis for her mixed media sculptures of glass, hand-built clay, metal,
and/or wood. “The transparency of glass bridges the density of clay and metal, rendering fundamental shapes with color and texture that is characteristic of painting on canvas. As the shade of light changes, the mood of the sculpture does as well.” Dillon’s work is sold and collected nationwide and was chosen as one the American artist to adorn the White House Christmas, now included in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute.
